I provide counseling from a strength-based and values-based approach. I have trained and work primarily from a self-compassion and mindfulness based perspective with techniques of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I provide trauma informed, person centered counseling that may also include solution-focused, motivational interviewing, and other techniques as is appropriate for you and your needs.
